Our Studio

The Norfolk Potters' Guild operates a co-operative studio in facilities at 97 Pond Street in Simcoe, Ontario.
Our studio offers eight electric wheels, three state-of-the-art computerized kilns, a slab roller and an extruder.

After completing at least one level I class, students may register to become studio members. Members are given 24/7
access to the studio to come in and work as they please. Clay must be purchased at the studio and members are
welcome to use any of our over 20 different shop glazes. Members are encouraged to participate on one of our committees
if they are interested in learning more about firings and glaze mixing.

The studio also has monthly meetings to discuss studio business and to showcase a visiting artist. Executive meetings
are held the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00, followed by the general meeting at 7:00 pm. By 8:00, members are
enjoying home-baked goodies and settling in for our visiting artist's presentation.

Guild memberships are also available for professional potters in the area. A Guild Membership allows the individual to take
part in monthly meetings, sign up for workshops, and participate in our twice-yearly sales.
